The Tipton Chamber of Commerce is planning a fall City-Wide Garage Sale for Saturday, September 14 with a start time of 8:00 AM.

The chamber encourages people to hold their own individual sales, coordinate with neighbors for a block sale or use this as an opportunity to raise funds for a community group. Also, the event gives area residents an opportunity to join together and take advantage of cooperative advertising for their specific garage sale events.

The cost to register is $5 and registration forms can be picked up at Daisy’s on the Square in downtown Tipton. Each participant is provided a garage sale sign for their event and a listing of their location and sale items on a map, to be distributed the Thursday before the sale.

The maps will be available at Family Foods, Tiger Mart, Casey’s General Store and local banks. The registration deadline is Wednesday, September 11.
