This Year's Theme:
AMERICA WAS BORN TO SPARKLE
8 am - 5K Walk/Run
- Registration form can be picked up at all Tipton Banks. Race starts at 8 am at St. Mary's Hall (209 Mulberry Street). For more information contact Dale Jedlicka at 319-270-4590. $20 prior to July 1st, $25 after. Yes, you can register day of, and donations are always accepted.
10 am - 2 pm - Classic Car Show & Auto Swap Meet
- Cedar County Fairgrounds. Registration: $15 from 9 am - 11 am. Trophy awards for top in 4 classes: Cars: Pre 1950, 1950-1980, 1980-Present. Trucks - Any year. Benefits to the Hardacre Theater. Questions contact Rodney Ohrt at 563-219-2259.
11 am 4th of July Parade
- This year's Grand Marshal is Ina Hack!
11:30 am - Grilled Butterfly Chop Sandwiches
- At Family Foods by the Tipton Chamber until sold out.
12 pm - 4 pm - 4th of July Theme Painting Class -
Come and Go classes by Christine Boeve will be held at Fresh Paint located at 118 E 5th Street. $10 to paint a water bottle.
1 pm - 4 pm - Swim at the Aquatic Center -
Outdoor pool only. Cost is $2 per person, under 2 is free. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The evening will conclude with Fireworks at dusk at the Cedar County Fairgrounds.
